We are a group of individuals dedicated to promoting the adoption of shelter animals, educating the public on responsible animal ownership and humane issues, and ending animal overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

Our Goals

To provide shelter to those in need and voice to those that cannot speak for themselves.

Greater Charlotte SPCA seeks to assist homeless animals in local shelters, animals in abusive or neglectful situations and owners who can no longer keep their animals.

• We accept animals into the GCSPCA from shelters and private owners. We will also accept strays and found animals.

• We vet and temperament test all animals before adoption.

• We screen adopters and require them to sign an adoption contract with the GCSPCA.
